Commencement
Gallaudet University will hold its 139th Commencement on Friday, May 16, 2008 beginning at 1:30 p.m., in the Field House. The procession of graduates begins at 1:15.
A limited number of tickets will be available for families and Gallaudet staff and teachers and should be picked up in the President's Office on the second floor of College Hall. No tickets are required for overflow seating in the Student Union Multimedia Theater. Commencement will also be broadcast online and on channel 20 on campus cable. A reception will follow the ceremony in the I. King Jordan Student Academic Center.
Webcast of Gallaudet Commencement Exercises
For anyone who cannot make it to Gallaudet’s 2008 Hooding Ceremony or Commencement exercises, the events will be available online via live webcasts. And anyone can relive the memories with archived videos available the following Monday.
- Graduate Awards and Hooding Ceremony--Thursday, May 15, 4 to 6 p.m. (goes live at 3:30 p.m.)
- Commencement exercises--Friday May 16, 1 to 4 p.m. (goes live at 12:30 p.m.)
